We offer expertly-led whitewater rafting trips on Clear Creek in Colorado. Our guests will experience numerous class III and IV intermediate level rapids and beautiful scenery. Clear Creek is very active and contains more rapids per mile than any other commercially available whitewater run in the nation. This trip is rated intermediate in difficulty and is good for both first timers and experienced rafters over the age of 13. We provide transportation from our shop, to the river, and back again. Before leaving our shop, guests will receive a safety orientation from a highly experienced guide, as well as the necessary gear for their adventure. Each boat will be assigned a highly experienced guide. On the river's bank, your guide will teach the commands they will use as well as proper paddling technique. After completing this lesson, your guide will embark with you on a whitewater adventure, sharing local tips and history while expertly maneuvering through the rapids. Guests will work together as a team to challenge the river and themselves. At the end of your ride, you will be provided with transportation back to our shop. Most of our trips are about 3 hours for the total excursion and can cover between 5 and 9 miles. Guests will gain a feeling of exhilaration and accomplishment, along with lasting memories after completing one of our adventures.

We will hike along an easy trail located less than 10 minutes outside of Boulder that will allow us to take in epic mountain views along a looped trail. After walking along the trees and wildflowers, we will sit facing west to see the sunset behind the Indian Peaks and take in the gorgeous views of mountains and wide-open spaces. Times can be adjusted, please message if you would like to see if we can fit your schedule. You'll start with a blank canvas, and at the end you'll have a happy little painting. We go over everything from how to add the liquid white, to signing your signature. All supplies are provided for you. We will be using oil paints. You need not bring anything but a snack, a soda or two, and your happy smile. You will learn how to hold the brushes properly, how to load the brushes with paint, and how to apply the loaded brush to the canvas to get your desired effect. You will learn the how's and why's of making this wet-on-wet technique flow from your fingertips - well at least make a grand effort for your first painting. You will find this, fun, entertaining and educational. Class is set at 2.5 hours but for one or two students in a class you could be done quicker, if four or more in a class it may run longer. Also, if you have an idea of what you would like to paint, please Let me know a few days ahead so I can plan it out. Other things to note Remember we are working with oil paints, and it may not come out of clothes. Ware something you don't mind getting paint on.

A tour for all ages just outside of Boulder (accessible by Taxi, Lyft & Uber). Tours start at sunset and last for 2 hours. The show will explore the night sky with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, maybe some shooting stars, and our universe. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes. The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. Guests are provided with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water(upon request). Guests are encouraged to bring questions, wonderment, and warm clothing (it can get cool after sunset) I can add availability on most days by request to accommodate your travel plans (the sooner the request the better, I would like to know more than 1 week in advance) Other things to note Please be aware of weather, tour is subject to cancellation if it is too cloudy to see any stars
