The Only REAL Dive Bar Walking Tour
We are going to visit and have fun at local bars starting at 6 PM.
We’ll all meet at a local neighborhood tavern and walk to some of Chicago’s finest and historical bar establishments. This tour will be in the West Town neighborhood.
We’ll stay close to downtown loop so it’ll be easy for you to get there and get back.
You'll get a great experience with:
• A FREE “Dive Right In” guide book to having fun at dive bars
• Enough time to get a “feel” for each dive bar (we’ll spend about 30 minutes at each place)
• Cheap drinks and eats
• A great time meeting the locals
• A bit of history on each bar we go to visit

Fireworks Sailing Cruise on a Yacht
Our sailing experience begins at the Monroe Harbor Public Dock (Google maps). Boarding our 37’ luxury cruising class sailing yacht Dragonfly, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey, we will cast off and motor out to Lake Michigan where we will set sail to a favorable course. Bring your favorite food and drinks, listen to music, relax, and take in the glittering skyline and the city’s iconic buildings from the lakefront. This tour offers an unbeatable up close and personal view of the Navy Pier Fireworks Show- on display every Wednesday and Saturday evenings Memorial through Labor Day. Do note Airbnb experiences are social, and up to 6 guests from different parties can join our standard cruise, however we welcome inquiries about private or custom outings. If you do not see a time on our calendar that works well for you, please contact us!

New friends will join your booking unless you reserve the entire boat. We only wait 15 minutes for a late guest out of courtesy for timely guests. We only cancel for lightning and will refund everyone. If you tend to get motion/seasick, or have a hangover, take motion medication 30 minutes prior.
Forge a Silver Ring with a Silversmith
At this time, I am requiring all guests to be
fully vaccinated *and boosted* against COVID-19 by the time of their workshop and to provide proof of vaccination.
In this workshop, you'll make a sterling silver ring through the silversmithing "fabrication" technique. Learn the basics of texturing metal, forming metal with mandrels and hammers, soldering (yes, you'll play with fire!), and decorative finishing and leave with a beautiful handmade ring that will last a lifetime!
This is not just some craft project. You will be working on the same tools that I use myself as a professional silversmith and your ring will be professional quality. It's always a fun evening! You'll be floored by what you can create!

You will get plenty of ideas for rings during the class. I also encourage you to look at the photos in this experience as well as guest photos for ideas!

DJ Studio Access
House music originated in the south side of Chicago during the 1980’s. An example for the city's African American cultural heritage and vital part of the world's dance clubs, raves and festivals, today Chicago continues to offer a vibrant scene where renowned DJs play. We'll meet at my basement studio, where I direct, create, and record my show. You’ll be introduced to the history of Chicago's Godfathers of house, and the origins of acid house and deep house. You'll experiment mixing methods for beginners, with an emphasis on 'smooth' DJ style for house and techno. You will be exposed to the basic frameworks of a DJ setup, play around and participate in creating a simple DJ mix.
Other things to note:
* This is NOT a music class but an opportunity to have access to a private home-based studio for observational purposes, Q&As, and DJ equipment
* All cell-phones must be off and put away during this experience (no audio or video recording permitted)
* Our 24-hr ADT indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras are in place at doors, common areas and inside the studio
* Covid-19 Precautions: Fully vaccinated host and staff. Face covering if/when required by State regulations. Studio, equipment and headphones sanitized in between attendees.
Make-Your-Own Flower Crown
We'll meet at Chicago's hidden gem, The Winter Garden, on the 9th floor of the Harold Washington Library (proof of vaccination may be required). Together we'll build a beautiful fresh floral headpiece that will last 1-2 days from the freshest floral available from the local flower market to make our custom headpieces.

Wicker Park Food Tour
Experience the close community and historic diversity in Wicker Park on a food tour of Chicago! The Wicker Park tour takes guests on a delicious trip through the scenic city blocks, stopping for tastings and to point out the local landmarks.
In between tastings, your guide explores the history, architecture, and culture of Wicker Park. Learn how the neighborhood’s history and influences have shaped the food offered there today, and gain insight into the life of a local.

Chicago City Photo Shoot
Ramp up your Instagram game (calling all content creators!) or simply get new photos and memories in the city of Chicago.
We'll start off by meeting in Downtown Chicago right on the river at Wacker and LaSalle, to begin our city shots. The vast open streets and highrises between the buildings make for unforgettable street shots!
As a group, we'll navigate the city streets capturing each individual's shots one at a time, as I offer posing and modeling expertise for each.
The best shots are those unplanned, so we'll continue to navigate throughout the city and explore well-known streets such as Chicago Avenue, State Street, Michigan Avenue, and others.
Remember, this is YOUR photoshoot. Anything you say goes! If a spot catches your eye, feel free to pose in front for the shots you desire!
Learn to dance salsa with a professional
Salsa Dance Classes
You've always wanted to learn how to dance salsa...so here's your chance! You will learn the fun basics of salsa. We will also apply those salsa basics into a fun partner pattern that will have you looking good and feeling good. Join with your partner, friends, family, or even alone. This experience is great for groups, great for teams, and team building!
At the end of class, we will do a fun recording of you dancing salsa so that you can show all of your friends. You will know the salsa basics well that you can dance it anywhere in the world.
Shop Hidden Thrift Stores
A great thrifting trip is all about the thrill of the hunt! Finding the great scores happens early, so we'll get energized with coffee or a snack at our meet-up point, then take public transit to 3-4 of the best thrifting spots in Chicago and spend ABOUT an hour at each. Each spot is at top of my list when I'm looking for my next favorite item. Not only is thrift shopping great for your wallet, it's sustainable for the environment! This tour is intimate and interactive so get ready to thrift with folks who's tastes and lifestyles are completely different from your own. Making new friends is encouraged! Locals are welcome: this tour ain’t only for tourists! This is not a vintage tour.
A successful thrift adventure requires vision to see the unique possibilities in an every day item - the right styling can transform something you'd initially pass up. That's where we come in! We are available to help scour the racks, give advice on how that leather jacket or platform shoes look or happy to let you do your own thing! As your experienced tour guide, I will make sure you go with a new favorite item.

Old-Fashioned Soap Making Class
Making soap is easy to do once you have made it with an expert. Otherwise, it can be pretty daunting to try to learn on your own.
We will discuss the fascinating history of soap making, and then we will get to work. You will weigh the main oils—olive, coconut, and palm—and I’ll be in charge of the dangerous stuff. (The lye.) You can personalize your batch by selecting from a variety of scents and herbs. Your loaf of soap will weigh about 1.5 pounds, and after a few days it will be ready to cut into bars. This is the size of a banana bread loaf, so you can cut as many slices of soap as you want from it, depending on thickness. A safe estimate is that you can get 7 or 8 bars of soap per batch.
You will leave here knowing how to make your own soap in the future with recipes and resources, like where to find supplies and how to calculate the lye.
This is a fun class to take with a friend, a partner, a group of friends, or a team from work. It is a fun team-building activity.
Children are welcome to attend this class as unpaid guests. They can help with your batch! If a child wants to make a separate loaf of soap they will need to pay the regular price.
Also, I have added dates and times that I think will appeal to people but I am pretty open to other dates and times.
I am fully vaccinated and we can wear masks or be unmasked, according to your preference.
Chicago Craft Brewery Barrel Bus Tour
Ride in a custom engineered Barrel Bus to taste different types of craft beer on this guided brewery tour. The Barrel Bus is replete with fine wood, a barrel shape, brass and copper fixtures, a gull-wing entrance door, and headlights / taillights from a 1915 Ford Model T.

Don't lose vacation time waiting in line to enter the Art Institute; or figuring out where are located your favorite artists artworks and have or take pictures with them; or even asking another person to take a picture with your phone (which is not a good option because pictures sometimes turned out awful). We'll take you to some of the best photo-op spots inside this Chicago Landmark museum, which has been #1 museum in the world several times according to Trip Advisor Travelers Choice. Your Profile/Cover Picture and your Instagram is going to look AMAZING after this.
After we meet and get to know ourselves, you'll just give us your device and we will take your pictures and/or guide which angles are better to take that picture that you want. Your experience will last about one hour and a half but you are free to stay after enjoying the beauty inside of this MUST VISIT museum in Chicago. We'll take you to Picasso, Miró, Dalí, Warhol, Van Gogh, Monet, Degas and we can guide you in the direction where to go later.

Lifestyle City Photo Shoot/Tour
Standing in front of a camera can be quite intimidating. With experience both in front of and behind the lens, I will always do my best to help you capture the best natural travel photos in the city of Chicago. Worried about how you'll look? Don't be! I will always show you the photos before moving forward.
During this experience I will not only help you receive beautiful photos but I will also try to teach you insight about modeling and photography. This experience will be ideal for individuals who are looking for a city tour but would also love to capture some scenic travel and portrait images. I love to build positive connections with others, so this is great for someone who wants to be more engaged and collaborative with their guide.
I will be using a Sony DSLR to capture your candid and lifestyle moments. This includes both portraits and full body shots. If you would like to learn more about the editing process or a photographer's guides, let me know and I am more than happy to share my knowledge.
You will select 3 images for edits & receive all unedited photos (usually 250+). Editing does not include body manipulation, but can be requested for an additional charge.

Chicago's Underground Donut Tour
On this tour, you'll join me as we explore the city and food culture through the medium of donuts. You'll learn about the history of Chicago, each donut location, how they fit into the larger food scene, as well as try some amazing donuts. We start from Doughnut Vault where we try some of the best donuts you've had in your life. Next we'll stop by Firecakes donuts to try a few of their seasonal flavors. Followed up with Stans Donuts near Michigan avenue and finally, we end at Do-Rite Donuts where they have both delicious donuts and fried chicken (if you want to get nuts at the end of the tour). We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sail Chicago's Lakefront on a Yacht
Our sailing experience begins at Monroe Harbor right in downtown Chicago. Guests will enjoy a captained cruise on our sailing yacht, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37. We will cast off and motor out to Lake Michigan where we will set sail to a favorable course. Bring your favorite food and drinks, listen to music, relax, and take in the views of our city’s iconic buildings from the lakefront. The courageous can try their hand at the helm and rigging the sails-Captain Greg is a volunteer sailing instructor for a local non-profit and enjoys sharing his knowledge. On hot days be sure to bring a bathing suit to swim in the lake to cool off. Please feel free to inquire about custom bookings. We have hosted engagements, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and many more memorable events!

Spray 'n' Sip- Street Art & Aerosol Workshop
1. Guests join us at our space Studio W.I.P. and dive into the world of spray paint and urban art. All instruction is done by local artists. Each guest will go home with their very own piece of the mural to remember their night.
2. Upon entering guests can relax and enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage. It's BYOB! Guests will unleash their inner street artist on a 50ft mural! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist and be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol, & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique.
3. Our main objective is to break down stereotypes that often are connected with spray paint. Guests will leave with curiosity and basic skills when applying aerosol to boot.
Gangsters and Ghosts Tours
One of the best ways to really acquaint yourself with the infamous city of Chicago is to do it from the streets, through a guided Chicago Gangster Tour or Ghost Tour, detailing the crimes, deals, and charisma that made the city what it is today.

Explore hidden bars in Chicago
Chicago offers a lot of hidden bars for night owls. We will start the night at my favorite hidden gem in West Loop, we will spend about one hour here then head to the next bar which is an 8 minute walk. Some of the bars have secret entrances so be ready for a fun night. The bars have amazing cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, good music and a good ambiance. There are plenty of secret bars and unfortunately we cannot explore all of them in one night. However, I will share with you the location of other secret bars which you can visit later. Please be advised that drinks or food are NOT included.
This is not prohibition level speakeasy tour, this is a chill bar hopping experience. I was not born in the early 1900s and don’t know anything about prohibition so don’t ask. Have a drink and relax.
Please note the experience time says it lasts 3 hours but you are welcomed to stay at the bars as long as you like. If your preferred hour is fully booked, don't worry, bar fits a fair amount of people, send me a message.
There are still some locations that may ask for your proof of vaccination to access the bars. Please bring it with you. A photo of your vaccination card is fine.

We will meet at Union Station— which is the perfect point to access anywhere in the city.
Unless you/the group has other preferences or special requests, here’s the default itinerary:
1. Millenium Park (where the iconic Bean sculpture is!)
2. Grant Park (to see Buckingham Fountain)
3. The Wrigley Building (my favorite building in the city!)
4. Chicago Riverwalk
5. Navy Pier
*method of travel between destinations will be walking unless public transportation is preferred
My goal for this tour is for all of you to step away feeling like you know Chicago in a deeper light with greater insight into this city than the average tourist.
As we explore the city together, I will answer any questions you may have while also sharing some interesting fun facts about The Windy City! Along the way, I would be happy to take photos of you/your group as I have a background in photography as well. Want a full on photo shoot? No problem :)
