Horseback Riding for kids and beginners. ALL adults must sign the liability waiver. If a child is too small or afraid to ride alone, they can ride with Mom or Dad. (200 lbs. max.) We begin with Wrangler Roger leading one of our beginner horses at a walk. We start slow and end slow. We swap out riders until everyone has ridden, and then we move on to the petting zoo. If you don't want to pet the zoo you can ride for the whole hour. If you don't want to ride you can pet the zoo instead. Non riding visitors may watch, take photos, and pet the zoo during and after the rides. We have horses, a mini horse, dogs, mini-pigs, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, and goats.
Adults may walk alongside the horse to encourage riders and take pictures. Kids may run around in the pastures, and burn off excess energy, as long as they are responsive to wrangler's safety instructions. We welcome questions and give riding and safety tips as we go along.
Contact host for an appointment. We do not guarantee availability unless you coordinate with host BEFORE booking. Generally, we are available at 10 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm but not always.
We also have a canoe, kayaks, and apartments for rent.
