If you're interested & booking a day or few days before the date, holiday or weekend please message me first. Our GUIDES will take you on an unforgettable tour of La Jolla Ecological Reserve, an MPA (Marine Protected Area) — home to a thriving marine ecosystem that boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in all of California as an ASBS (Area of Special Biological Significance). Explore 3 distinct microhabitats in what the Kumeyaay Native Americans named Woholle or “the land of holes”. See the Rose Canyon Fault Line & experience the famous La Jolla’s Seven Sea Caves. Throughout the summer months you’ll see the biggest Leopard Shark aggregation in the world. In the winter, witness Gray Whales on their annual migration from Alaska to Baja California. During spring/ summer the sunset tours are unavailable due to daylight savings. Other things to note Kayaks are tandem (2 people per boat). We only enter 1 cave & entering is weather dependent. We will meet at the Surf Shack at Windansea Beach on Neptune Place, one of the most iconic beaches in San Diego. This beach is a popular surfing and sunbathing spot amongst locals. You will get to enjoy sand in your toes, the awesome shore break and rock formations, and you'll even get to watch some local surfers enjoy themselves out on the break. We'll start at the Surf Shack and work our way up and down the beach, taking photos along the way. The variety of breathtaking scenery will offer a multitude of backgrounds for your photos. I'll help find the right poses to create the most flattering images possible. You will be able to take home personalized and professional pictures of your stay in San Diego - a souvenir not many people get! This experience is offered for couples, engagements, elopements, weddings, pre-weddings, family, proposals, maternity, and portraits. This experience is usually conducted during the hours or sunset, also known as "golden hour." The lighting during these times is phenomenal and provides the best quality light for your photographs. This experience is in close proximity to water, so you will most likely get wet! If you prefer another location in San Diego (La Jolla Shores, Balboa Park, Pacific Beach, etc) it is possible if you let me know in advance

San Diego Tequila Tour

For Special Consideration: Call Nate 619 876 0352 The group will meet in Old Town San Diego at Rockin' Baja Lobster, a notoriously fun Mexican restaurant! We'll sip our first tequila shot while enjoying chips and a full salsa bar! *All 6pm groups meet in Old Town San Diego at Casa de Maria, in the heart of the market-square and birthplace of California. The tour then takes us on a beautiful scenic walk. Guests' are encouraged to stop at some of the many store's to purchase souvenirs along the way. Our next stop is high on the hillside, Old Town Tequila Factory, where we sample another shot of tequila AND enjoy a delicious fish taco on the rooftop patio with a beautiful scenic view that overlooks Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Harbor that gives that perfect backdrop for a selfie! As the tour continues, we learn about the Whaley House, early California, grave sites, historical markers, and other Old Town facts as we pass them by on our way to our final stop. Saving the best for last, the restaurant, bar and tequila museum El Agave. This is a top shelf tequileria and carries over 2,000 tequilas. Here, each guest treated to your OWN PERSONAL FLIGHT of tequila that is highly rated by the bar vendors while enjoying the fine dining establishment ending our tour!! La Jolla Kayak Tour

Your visit with Bike & Kayak Tours, Inc. will begin at our storefront, located just two short blocks from the beach. Once properly outfitted for your adventure with lifejackets and helmets, we will walk down to the La Jolla shores beach. Once down on the beach we will begin our paddle instruction where you will learn how to paddle the kayak efficiently and comfortably, before our beach crew assists us out through the surf. On our way to the caves you will learn all about the wildlife that is found in La Jolla, which is home to an ecological reserve boasting three different types of habitats. Keeping an eye out for wildlife, we will then make our way to the sea caves where you will learn the geological history of how the seven sea caves were formed. Note: If we determine that the water conditions are unsafe to enter the Clam's Cave you will be provided with a voucher to enter the only land accessible cave called Sunny Jim's cave. Other things to note Please arrive 30-40 minutes prior to your tour time. Dress prepared to get wet and have a great time. 12.5% service and maintenance fee will be charged at check-in.
